E Komo Mai ~ Welcome!
When I began to work with gourds, my appreciation for this particular craft began to grow in leaps and bounds. I immediately felt that the gourds 'spoke' to me, and it was merely a matter of waiting until I felt comfortable I had correctly heard each ones' calling.
This is by no means to say that there has not been a great deal of trial and error, error proving often far more valuable than trial! Of course I have been disappointed with failed projects, but when what was once an idea has become something beyond what I even imagined, that is when I feel that the original voice of the gourd has become a beautiful, and surprising song.
